itwasrhetorical: (029 ♥ She wins him)

He might have been accused of such a long time before but not too long ago others had said much the same to Glinda in warning. Admittedly without such direct language but the warning had been thorough never the less. The witch's colourful cheeks heated more as she suppressed the urge to giggle as she didn't want to seem childish in front of him. And there was little more immature than giggling at swear words.

It would have been polite to look aside whilst he undressed. It would have been more impolite to look away whilst he spoke. It was a conundrum of manners and impulse but truthfully the deicision to keep her eyes on him wasn't as quarellous as it should have been. The few times they had been close in recent weeks had been a rush of lust and careless pushing of garments out of the way. There hadn't been time to sit and stare and - dare she think it? - enjoy the look of his frame. Glinda eyes certainly didn't leave him as he came towards her.

The poetry was swoon-worthy and Glinda found herself rather glad that she was sat in the heated water as she felt her knees go rightfully weak even while not supporting her weight. She had such a weakness when it came to the espousing of poetry and in Matthew's enchanting tones it was even more alluring than it had any good right to be. Glinda hand raised to lace her fingers with the ones resting against her skin.

"You really shouldn't be allowed to walk about capable of saying things like that." There was a touch of roughness in Glinda's soft tone that hadn't been there before and an honest awe behind her eyes. "It truly is an unfair challenge to me now knowing you can send me into riddiculousness with little more than words."
