It would be a lie to say Matthew wouldn't enjoy it; his hand brushed lovingly against Alexander regardless and welcomed the nuzzle in kind he received. It was one of the reasons he hugged Dori so much and so openly. The man needed some care.
"She hasn't seen how we truly are, not yet," he sighed. That shoe had yet to drop and when it did, they'd have to deal with it.
"But until then, we shall hold onto her. I'm not so keen on giving up on her without a complaint."
